Mykayla Best began her dental career in 2019 and moved through front-office operations, billing, revenue-cycle leadership, and practice management. That range gave her a close view of the problems that numbers alone cannot explain: unclear ownership, broken handoffs, inconsistent training, avoidable denials, and leaders without the visibility they need.
She founded Tooth & Ledger to give independent practices the kind of strategic and operational support usually reserved for larger organizations—without losing the personality, autonomy, and patient relationships that make private practice worth protecting.
